There is a technically determined limit of detection. This is 0.5 ng / ml. All residues above this limit have a scientifically reliable significance.
At particularly high values, the laboratory even performs double determinations. These are indicated on the diagnosis certificate as "Doppelbestimmung".
The laboratory uses the widely accepted ELISA test for this purpose.
For double determinations, a second test is performed with a even more accurate method. Double determinations can happen as random checks,
as quality control or if a reading has a particularly high value, for which further steps are recommended.
We bear the costs for these determinations, you do not have to pay any more. Please understand that in these cases the
delivery of the result may be delayed for a short time.
A sterile container, which has not previously contained any foodstuffs or cotton-containing products, such as cotton or fabric, should be used. An unused disposable plastic cup should be sufficient.
We recommend midstream of morning urine.
Nothing at all. This is all done for you.
Only if you order more than one test kit, you have to ensure that the barcodes of the test persons match the bar codes on the test monovettes.
Tip: Fill in the test cards for each test person first, write down the first and last names on the white sticker, then hand over the appropriate test kits to the corresponding person.
It is important in the case of multiple orders that the bar codes on the sample tubes have the same end numbers as the name on the request form. Here accuracy is key, because otherwise you end up with test values from which you do not know which value belongs to which person. Tip: Fill in the test cards for each test person first, write down the first and last names on the white sticker, then hand over the appropriate test kits to the corresponding person.
Write down your first name and surname to facilitate identification in the laboratory.
Detailed printed instructions will be shipped with your testkit.
Yes, and we encourage to do so, as some studies suggets that children could be harmed by glyphosate in their development.
Since it is not very easy to get urine from small children, we provide free collection bags for children in this case. Just let us know that you need it as a response to the confirmation mail of your order.
Up to 3 tubes can be placed in a return box. We always add the right number of return cartons according to the number of tubes. In case you need more let us know in advance.
Within Germany the return is included. For all other countries please make sure to provide the postal service with sufficient postage.
If residues were present in the sample, they were so low that they could not be detected scientifically reliably. We therefore rate these samples as "Most likely free of glyphosate". In relation to a possible load, this is the most desirable value which can be reported back.
The test results are documented anonymously according to postal code, country and result value in the laboratory and sent to us for the investigation from time to time summarized.
Then we can only recommend you to try a different test and invest the extra amount that costs elsewhere. You can find them online from 50 Euro upwards. Our subsidized test kits come with the purpose of driving our survey and investigations. Therefore the consent to the anonymized publication is automatically linked to an order.
As this is pioneering work, we are still working hard on this answer. We will provide information online, e.g. on this website and on YouTube. There are already testing groups for possible intervention protocolls, if you are interested in taking part and have a reading of 1,5 ng/ml or higher please contact us. Do not hesitate to contact us with levels 3.9 and higher.
No. The test is exclusively for glyphosate residues.
Technically yes. But we recommend to save your money and don't use these testkits for this purpose. The reason is simple: The EU-standard limit for water is 0,1ng/ml, our limit of detection 0,5ng/ml. The readings we have found in our research in EU ground- or tapwater are most commonly below 0,2ng/ml. Although there are water samples tested over the EU-limit, your result with our testkit will be most likely be zero, even if the sample exceeds the EU-limit. We will provide a second testkit for water-testing soon, with a calibration that at least shows exceeding values to the EU-standard.
All personal data can only be seen by those neccesary producing, processing and transmitting the test result to you.
The high standard we set corresponds to the medical confidentiality obligation and is valid until you have released us in written form - e.g. for reasons of a necessary treatment or for a court case.
We protect your data according to modern standards and with care.
We do use your data anonymized with a set (Zipcode, Country, Value, if Child under 14 years) as this data is vital for the study. We do not collect names, dates of birth or other identification.
It is possible that we need to share this anonymized data with certain scientist experts for evaluation purposes, helping the study.
It is also possible that anonymized data will be used for scientific publications.
We will not sell your data, especially not as identifiable datasets with third parties at any time.
